Hi Everyone,
Greetings to all. I wanted to take a moment to send an update. In March, I had the opportunity to be a part of the worship conference at Christ for the Nations in Germany. Zach Neese was also there and we spent quality time with worship leaders from all over the country, leading worship and teaching. We have already heard reports of what the Lord did at the conference and are so excited. I sense the beginnings of a worship renewal taking place. It was exciting to see the receptivity of the worship leaders and to hear what was taking place all across the nation. My daughter Candace went with me to Germany and we were able to visit different parts of the country. We started in the Bavarian Alps in the south and then headed north. The south of Germany where it borders Austria nestled in the Alps is breathtaking to say the least. The little villages, the bakeries, the history and architecture, and so much more made the trip an amazing experience. We ended our trip with some time with my relatives. Candace met some of my family for the first time! This weekend I am in Brazil for another worship leaders conference with Ana Paula. God is releasing a sound all over the earth.

Hoping that this finds you blessed and walking out your destiny in the Kingdom! God leads us in so many ways and the journey is meant to be awesome. It is fun at times to look back and see your roots, your beginnings, and how God has directed your steps. Interesting that I was born just an hour away from the place of the conference in Germany. My dad directed the choir in a church just a little way from there. Our family left Germany when I was a year old but it was great to return and visit.

Great things are happening at Pure Worship. We have really been enjoying the ongoing worship night here in McKinney, TX at the Adriatica chapel. The first Tuesday of every month we gather in an intimate setting, and enjoy the presence. We have had such encouraging testimonies of how God has been meeting people and refreshing them. If you live local, come join us!

I am also very excited to be back in the studio and recording. New songs are burning in my heart for the church. We’ll keep you posted on upcoming releases. God is doing much in the earth. It is easy to get discouraged at times when we look around but I assure you His Kingdom is an everlasting , ever increasing one!! Of His reign there will be no end. Never stop declaring His praise in the earth.

This is a very special week for Christians as we remember our Lord’s suffering, death on the cross, burial, and resurrection! I just watched the passion of the Christ again and was once again stirred by the greatest love story ever told. We have become partakers of His divine nature because of the risen Christ. The veil of the temple was torn in two and we may now enter into a life of the Presence. I trust you and your family enjoy the Easter weekend!

May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6: 24-26

Hi Friends,

It’s been a while since I sent out a newsletter so there is a lot to tell you! God has been so faithful and we are blessed in every way. Last week we celebrated Candace’s 16th birthday! Aaron will be 7 shortly and my little Olivia just turned 4. Sure seems like just a short time back that we were at the hospital waiting to bring Olivia home with us. Julie is doing wonderful and enjoying her parents coming to visit.

A couple weeks ago we were honored to be a part of the International Women’s Aglow conference in Houston where we had an incredible few days, followed by a local night of worship at the Adriatica Chapel here in McKinney, which turned out to be a beautiful intimate evening of worship. Last weekend we were in Chattanooga TN where we led a NIGHT OF WORSHIP with Kari Jobe. Always love ministering together with Kari as it brings back some pretty great memories of the incredible times shared at CFNI. The whole earth WILL be filled with the knowledge of the GLORY of the Lord. Of this I am certain and so glad to be a part!

Next on the list of updates is 2 NEW CD’s just released for the first time. A few years back, Chris Rogers, (who has helped to record many of my projects) came over to my house, set up microphones, and left me to play the piano. I recorded for 3 days on and off and just captured melodies. Later we added strings and then put it on the shelf for a bit. As many of you know, Chris went to be with the Lord a little over a year ago. I felt that it was time to release this Piano CD and so we have titled it STILLNESS and have dedicated it to Chris’ memory, his life and love of music. I promise you this CD will bring rest and peace into your home. It is gentle in nature and sure to inspire. Very similar to THE INVITATION, which has blessed many of you, but I think even a bit better!! My piano music puts my kids to sleep every night... and it works!

We also went into the studio and released a devotional CD called “EVERYTHING LIVES IN THE RIVER”. I love this project. With some very anointed music and scripture readings, I believe it will bring you into the presence as you listen. We have already begun to hear incredible feedback as people have listened to a few of the songs.

I want to encourage you to buy several copies. Buy one for yourself and then a few to give away. Sow worship into the earth. We receive testimonies all the time of how the music carried people through some of the most difficult times of their lives. Worship will change the atmosphere around you and change your perspective to a God one!

Both these CD’s are brand new and available for the very first time. There is so much more to tell you but it will have to wait until next time. Thank you so much for your prayers and love towards us. I am beyond excited about what the Lord will do in the earth in the days to come. Worship is front and center because HE is front and center. Keep praying for the peace of Jerusalem!

Keep filling your life with worship and releasing the sound of His glory into the earth. God’s best on you and your loved ones,

Hi Guys,
As I think of what to share with you this month, I am certain of one thing. The kingdom is the most exciting place to be in all the world! Where else do you get relationship with the creator, unending joy, purpose for living, the constant presence of God, favor, blessing, angels to protect you? .... and the list goes on.

We’ve been having some pretty strong storms in Texas and are in the middle of a pretty severe storm as I write this. When my little kids were getting a bit upset, I explained to them that angels were watching over us and there was no need to be afraid. I believe that completely! Psalm 91:11 says “For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.” The 91st Psalm begins with, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” The invitation is open to us daily to dwell in the secret place. He draws us by His goodness and mercy. I love the thought of abiding under the shadow of the Almighty. A shadow means the substance is near!

I have a question for you to ponder. What is the greatest gift God could ever give us? Is it any one thing, blessing, or any such thing? No, the greatest possible gift God could give is Himself. He is the ultimate, consummate, perfect gift. There is no earthly or heavenly thing that could compare to the essence of who He is. To be invited into the courts of the King as a son, a daughter, a joint heir, as a partaker of His divine nature is beyond amazing. All else is fleeting but He remains an eternal fountain of joy.

On the other hand, I believe the greatest gift God could ever receive is the worship and adoration of a redeemed soul. Sounds like a pretty easy thing to do... and I assure you that worship and living in the secret place has its benefits!

May God richly bless you as you dwell,

Pure Worship News....
Last weekend Gateway Church recorded a new song that I had written with the help of Thomas Miller called “Every Day I Live”. I was excited to see the congregation worship to a fun song that declares every breath, every heartbeat, and every moment is for Him.

Also, The Lion of Judah, is the First 3-D Faith-Based Animation to be released in theaters worldwide, June 3rd! I am excited to share this historical event with you because it is my first time being involved in a movie release, along with the Orignial Motion Picture Soundtrack (available on iTunes by searching: The Lion of Judah Soundtrack). I am featured on 2 songs in the movie, "Carry Me" with Kari Jobe and the theme song, "The Lion of Judah" , as well as the bonus feature on the soundtrack, "Once Upon A Stable" , which is the theme song for the award-winning Christmas prequel to, The Lion of Judah. The DVD will be distributed by Warner Brothers and will be available this fall in retail stores. Visit: www.JudahMovie.com for more information and to find a local theater near you.

Hi Everybody,
Hope this finds you blessed and enjoying life! I remind my kids every chance I get to be thankful. We have been given so much and are so blessed that it is only fitting for us to be a grateful people. It’s simply a better way to live! One particular student from my days at CFNI, who God is using in an incredible way, will occasionally send a text to thank me for what I poured into his life. It makes my day every time he shows his gratitude. I have to believe it is that way with our Father!!

I was thinking about how much I enjoy my family every day. Seems like there is never a dull moment around the Kuehn household! Lately I have been running into friends that I have not seen in some time and when they begin telling me about their kids all grown up and off to college, I’m reminded of how quickly time flies. Life should always be lived in the moment. Our days are filled with so many events that at times feel like a blurr... but I am learning again to enjoy and celebrate the little things.

Well, I finally got my studio organized and am ready to start spending some more time in the room. So much writing and releasing of worship that I feel will happen in the next little while. Can’t wait!

A few months ago I was in a meeting where I had a real cool revelation about being in the presence. I had one of those wow moments! We had entered this incredible place of worship where the people were catching it and all of a sudden I realized what David meant when he said, "For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness". Psalm 84:10

I felt in that moment that just hanging out close to the presence, being a door keeper, was better than any other thing imaginable. Have you ever had those moments where time stands still and you feel totally satisfied? Nothing matters, all your troubles seem so insignificant in that moment? I really believe God wants to give us a whole bunch of those if we’ll allow Him to. Moment by moment, from glory to glory!

Earlier this week, my daughter, Candace and I experienced a cool God moment. We play volleyball together and were just finishing a practice. While leaving the gym, we saw an 88 year old woman lying on the concrete. She was on a walk when she tripped and fell. She was unable to move, had hurt her arm, and was bleeding. Candace recognized her, as it was close to her school and we were able to take care of this lady and minister grace to her. We talked to her 96 year old husband who said he was not able to go out and look for her and they live alone. It was dark and getting cold and we had a strong storm blow into the Dallas area overnight. I am convinced the angels watched over this dear lady and God had all of us there at the perfect time. Just one small event in a busy day but it made me realize again how good He is!

I hope that you will delight yourself in the Lord daily! There really is nothing that compares to Him!

Be blessed,

Hey Everybody,
It’s been a while since I sent out a note to update on family life as well as Pure Worship Ministries. I hope this finds you doing well and living in the goodness of God! I have found that His faithfulness exceeds my greatest expectations and goes far beyond, for which I am eternally grateful.

It was a very exciting and busy 2010. My kids are growing up way too fast! Candace is 15 and now practicing her driving everywhere we go. She is in 9th grade and has become a lovely young lady. Always playing sports (currently, volleyball and softball), writing new songs at the piano, enjoying her many friends, and growing in faith. It seems just a short time ago she was off to kindergarten... but all you parents out there know how that goes. Aaron Judah is now 6 and loves life! He brings a lot of joy into our lives every day for sure. He’s learning to play the violin and piano, playing soccer, and whatever else that has movement to it. I think we play at least two games of Trouble every day and he loves winning (kind of like his dad). Olivia, well she’s in a world all by herself! She’s 3 and a spitfire. We have our hands full. :) She loves to play with all of her Toy Story 3 characters and can get lost in her own little world for hours at a time. It really is incredible to see how unique they all are. We are so grateful for health and blessing on all of our children.

Of course mom gets a lions share of the credit for all of the above! Julie is amazing with the kids and really is an incredible lady. Way more patient, loving, and kind than I could articulate in a few lines. Living life together in the Kuehn household is adventurous and really a blast. My pastor used to say that if you took any of the ingredients in a chocolate cake and taste them individually, they wouldn’t excite. Who likes flour, yeast, salt, etc by itself? But mix them all together and put some heat on them (I like the part about the heat) and you have an incredible dessert! I believe it is like that in life as well. At times the journey is challenging, and experiences all by themselves can be bitter or sweet, but when you mix them all together, add the heat of life and a bit of time, you have a most incredible experience! You gotta like that!

And then there’s Mary who really feels like she’s a part of the family. Our kids love her and she is simply a vital part of all we do. I cannot say enough about the quality of person she is and what she brings to this ministry. If I wouldn’t hold her back and if she wasn’t constantly waiting on me, we could really get a lot done. :)

I would be remiss in not mentioning all of the team that ministers with us on the road and at our events. Keith, Steve, Justin, David, Lauren, Brandon, and the ones that come with us occasionally. You guys are awesome and it’s a pleasure extending the kingdom with you!

Well, I have to wrap it up. We are looking forward to all that God has for us this year! I believe we’ll be releasing several new projects, writing a lot, and releasing worship into the earth. So much more I want to say but I want to close by mentioning our free download this month. The title of the track is, “There Is A River”. It was recorded by Gateway Church for the 20/20 devotional series and God has been blessing as we worship with it. I love the words out of Ezekiel 47: 9 which says, ...“everything will live wherever the river goes”. It’s why we do what we do and why worship is so incredible. When you get into the river of His presence, life just happens! Healing, wholeness, dreams, visions, mercy, goodness,.... and I could go on for a long time. He is good and His mercy endures forever! May God bless you as you journey with Him. He is forever faithful!

Hi Everybody,
It’s been a while since we sent out a newsletter so here goes...

It’s been an incredibly busy season for me all the way around. Our family just moved into a new home and we have had a lot going on in the ministry. We have been to San Jose for the National Aglow conference, Los Angeles for a Worship Encounter, Illinois for a worship conference and led a bunch of local nights of worship as well. It’s been awesome to see the people respond to His presence. Of course we always get blessed as we worship ...that’s the great part of the deal!

The fall weather has finally arrived in Texas and it is always my favorite time of year. I miss the change of color that I grew up with in the north, but just the cooler weather and the leaves starting to drop make me happy!

I wanted to share a revelation that I have been pondering. Ever since we recorded “Roar from Zion”, the Lord has been speaking to me about sound in the earth. While in San Jose, Ray Hughes was one of the speakers that blessed me big time. Many of you have heard of Ray and his teaching on SOUND. It’s amazing. He said much, but what he spoke concerning the movement of music from the 60’s to current in the secular arena peaked my attention. When worship is misdirected and we exalt the creature rather than the Creator, we find ourselves in what the Bible calls Idolatry. It’s important to understand that music in itself isn’t good or bad. Since the time of the fall, satan has been looking for the very thing he desired in heaven....worship. It’s why he offered it all to Jesus if He would just bow down to him. Jesus says in John 4 that the Father, as well, is seeking worshippers throughout the earth. Interesting that in the late 60’s and early 70’s we began to hear the first sounds of modern worship emerging through the sounds of Maranatha music, Vineyard, Christ for the Nations, Integrity, HIllsong, Passion and many more.... A coincidence?? I don’t believe so.

In the book of Acts, we read, “in that day God will restore the tabernacle of David”.... which is pure worship regardless of location and void of religious order. It has begun all over the earth. And remember, I am not speaking of a musical style but rather a passionate heart cry of the bride in the earth.

What really got me was what I see in Revelations chapter 5 where there is weeping in heaven because no one was found worthy to open the scrolls and seals. Then the Lion of the tribe of Judah steps up. Of the many names of God used in the scripture, why this one? The final chapter in human history is about to be released as the Justice of God is at hand and He is about to receive the nations as the reward for His suffering! The Lion (KING) of the tribe of Judah (PRAISE in Hebrew) is His name!!! Why this name? Because the issue of the ages is Worship. It has to be because it is the choice that every man must make. Who will you worship??

I hope that every time you worship, whether alone, or corporate, you remember that you are a part of the vast army of the redeemed called out and privileged to make His name great in the earth. Every scoffer, every hater of God will soon see the magnificence of this King! I love it!

On another note, we have put together a few offers going into the holidays to help you sow worship into the earth! We also have our Christmas album featuring Kari Jobe and Elizabeth Clark as guests. I just listened to this record again and really enjoyed it! Get a few extra copies as stocking stuffers and bless some friends.

Love you guys and hope that the upcoming holiday season finds you thankful,

Hi Everybody,
As I write this blog, I am excited to announce the release of our new CD/DVD, “Prepare the Way ”. I’ve never felt as strong about releasing a theme and a sound as I did on the night of the recording. Pastor Sam Brassfield joined us to release a word over the evening. It was about worship and what the Lord was shortly to do in the earth. Pastor Sam was instrumental in mentoring and declaring the word of the Lord at Christ For The Nations in the morning chapels the year that we released the "Glorious" recording.

In the several weeks leading up to this gathering of worship, I was awakened night after night as the Lord stirred my heart, to release His heart into the earth. It was all about a people making way for the King..... a sound of passionate worship that would welcome His reign. It was a declaration that the crooked ways would be made straight and that Our God reigns!!

I could not have picked a more incredible group of musicians and worshippers than what were assembled in that place. I believe a sound was released that will encourage the bride of the Lord all over the earth. A declaration that the Lord is about to Roar out of Zion! (Joel 3:16)

It was incredible to have Kari Jobe join us for the evening. I’ve shared a lot of worship times with Kari and I could not think of a worshipper I’d rather have to help release God’s heart. It was an honor as the Lord has really released a huge amount of favor on her in this season. The CD is worth owning for you to hear her sing “How He loves" and “I’m in love with you”. Totally incredible moments as the Father released His heart over His bride.

The other very cool thing about this release is that we have included a full length DVD of the night that will allow you to see and experience what happened first hand!

What more can I tell you except to pre-order your copy now at the pre-release price of $14.99 and get a few extra copies to give to your friends. Remember you get the CD and the DVD all in one pack. I truly believe this project will bless you and your family as you listen. It's time to sow worship into the earth!

Our official release date is August 31, which gives you one week to pre-order at this special price.

I love you guys and thank you for all your prayers kind words. May the Lord continue to bless you as you bless His name in all the earth!

Making His Name Great,

Hi to All,
Hope you're enjoying the summer. It’s been a busy one for me with travels to Michigan and back several times already. We have a lot of family in Michigan and always enjoy summer time up there. It beats the Texas heat in July for sure!!

I want to share a few thoughts with you about living life without limits. To some that might mean living life without any restraint, which is not what I am speaking of. I often explain to my children parameters and consequences for bad decisions. Limitations are for our good and very necessary. But the life without limits that I am talking about is the life as a partaker of the divine nature of God.

In 2 Peter 1:3 & 4 it says, "seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust".

I don’t know if we fully comprehend what is being said here but we have been given partnership in His nature. The creativity, the power, and the limitless resources of heaven have been afforded us. There is no end to the creative flow that comes from the Godhead. We ought to be the most creative, most innovative, and excellent people in the earth because we are yoked to the Creator Himself. His mind, His thoughts, His power become ours because He loves to share it with us!! May the Lord grant you great grace in the days to come to tap into His limitless nature and fulfill all of your destiny.

Looking forward to the upcoming worship conference at Sojourn church in the Dallas area! Also, I'll be brushing up on my German while helping Gateway in the studio on a German translation for many of their worship songs, as they extend ministry into Europe. And finally, we are making preparations for the release of “Prepare the Way,” our new live worship recording. We'll have more information about the release in next month's enewsletter.

I am truly excited for what the future holds in the Kingdom. The King is on His throne forever! We really are a privileged people. May praise arise in all the earth to make Him great!

Greetings to all!
Hope this letter finds you doing wonderful! I think summer has arrived (at least here in Texas anyway). The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever!

I wanted to respond to a question I received recently on twitter from a new worship Pastor. He asked what advice I would give to him and I thought I would share it in this format because I believe it would be helpful to many. I teach often on leading worship and all that goes along with it.

Because church life is all about relationships, I think that coming into a new setting with a true servant’s heart is the first order of business. We as worship leaders are not God’s gift to the church but rather Pastors that ought to love and serve the people. It really is an honor to be given a platform in which you get to lead God’s people into the places of His heart week after week. There is so much more I could say about this but I’m reminded of the time that Jesus took the towel and began to wash the disciple’s feet, teaching them that the greatest in the Kingdom is the servant of all! I remember going to a Tommy Barnett Pastor’s conference in Phoenix some years ago. There were several thousand pastors there and Tommy was the guy heading it all up. I was walking into the sanctuary when out of nowhere Pastor Tommy made an effort to come over and introduce himself to me, telling me he was so glad I was there and making himself available in anyway to help make my time there more special. The spirit of Christ in the man left a mark on my heart. I really believe that people will trust and follow you if they know you’re the real deal!!

Don’t come in to show them a “better way”, but see what’s in the house, what’s working, and then ask the Lord to give you wisdom in how to bring them to the place He wants the church to be! Worship leaders lead worship....what an amazing idea! You’re not a song leader, performer, etc... but you lead people in worship. Point them to the most amazing King of all! He’s beautiful and awesome in every way and if you’ll remind them of how great He is, it will be easy.

Last little thought is to understand that change takes time. There is probably a reason that you were enlisted. Your responsibility is to lead the sheep to green pastures. Lead is the key word here. Don’t expect things to change overnight but take your time, build relationships, lead worship and let God establish your leadership as you serve in the Kingdom!

On a closing note, we are packaging and getting the new recording ready. I can’t wait for you to hear it. We are so pleased to have a DVD to go with it. It really is an experience into the presence! You’ll be hearing more about it the next couple months.

I wish you a blessed summer, safe travels, and the touch of His presence on all you do!!

Grace and Peace,

Hi Everybody,
Today I am writing from Michigan where I will travel to the state capital and join many others for the national day of prayer. As my Pastor said on Sunday, "there are a lot of attacks on Christianity and on our freedoms, but we must pray at every opportunity". There were many saints in the scripture that were told they were not to pray but their response was that they had to honor God, which is what our response should be!

Last Friday I attended the Gateway worship recording and was blessed as the presence of God was in the house. I was honored to have had a part in writing a couple of the songs used that evening. One of the songs they sang was the one that we are releasing as the song of the month. It’s called “Praise Him”. Every time I sing this song, my two youngest children (Aaron and Olivia) start running around the living room chasing each other and jumping up and down as they go. Whenever I sing the verse or bridge little Olivia (my 2 year old) says, "Daddy sing Praise Him!". I can never get away from the chorus for very long! We recorded the song for our new release in the studio a few weeks ago. It’s a song declaring the praise of God.

I was able to get to Nashville for the Dove awards a few weeks ago and celebrate the favor of the Lord on both Kari Jobe and Jennie Riddle. Both won doves and it was fun to be a part of their journey! From the simple chapels and simple songs that we sang at Christ for the Nations to the music and worship reaching into all the earth! Awesome! While there I connected with Lindell Cooley for the day and had a great time just hanging out. The man always encourages me!! Let’s continue to pray for the people in Nashville in regards to all the flooding.

On another note, Candace, my 14 year old, just finished her volleyball season (she played for Club Legacy) and it was a great experience. Her team did awesome and it was a time to make a lot of new friends and enjoy some great competition. I am so proud of her and am enjoying this season of her life. I don’t always talk about her but she is a wonderful young lady for sure!

Some friends just sent out a beautiful violin for my 5 year old son, Aaron, to start taking music lessons. We pulled out the violin and all of us played it. I can’t wait to get him into lessons.

In closing, I want to update on the recording that will be released shortly. I feel like the touch of God is on it in a very special way and very much look forward to releasing it. We are calling it “Prepare the Way”. We recorded video of the evening and are very excited about releasing it as well. I believe It is such a timely message for the church. The Lord is about to Roar out of Zion! Make way for the King!

I trust this letter finds you and your loved ones blessed! The Father is seeking those who would worship in Spirit and in truth. Keep Worshipping!!

Hi Again,
Hoping you enjoyed the Easter weekend. My family had a great time celebrating!!

Listening to the radio last week, a Jewish gentlemen said that he was taking off a few days to celebrate Passover. I decided that I need to celebrate the season with my family remembering the significance of what Easter is all about.

I have three children, Candace 14, Aaron Judah 5, and Olivia 2. As you can imagine I can’t explain everything the same way to all three. But I told Julie that I wanted to make this Easter a significant time, remembering that it was in this season that the Power of the Holy Spirit raised Christ out of the grave and seated Him at the right hand of the Father. All authority and power has been given to Him for the ages to come!

I called my friend Brian who loves the Jewish customs, and along with some other friends, we ordered some Lamb, and planned a Seder meal together. Brian prepared the lamb and then reminded all of us what Passover really meant. The nation of Israel had been enslaved by the Egyptians, Pharaoh had hardened his heart and refused to let them go. God sent the judgment and plagues, the last being the death of every first born of Egypt, upon all those who did not have the blood of the Lamb upon their doorpost. Each Jewish family brought a lamb into the house (the lamb stayed with them, the children becoming attached to it). Then they were instructed to slay the lamb, place the blood over the doorpost, cook it, eat it in haste, and prepare to leave Egypt.

We all know the story but it is up to me to teach my children the significance of it and to remember. How soon we forget! Jesus the lamb (beloved of the Father), layed down His life, and the Father looking at us passes over our sins forever because the blood of the Lamb is over the doorpost of our hearts. We celebrate a resurrection that is glorious. Because of this, our lives are forever changed! The scripture says that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in us!

We ate the Lamb, ate lots of chocolate, and remembered how great His love towards us is and celebrated the risen Lord!! I hope you will always remember!

I was honored just a few days ago to help lead worship at the memorial service for Mrs. Freda Lindsay. What an incredible lady. I would need an entire enewsletter to just begin to tell you of how great an impact she had in the earth. I have often said that if the book of Hebrews was being written today, I believe she would be one of the heroes mentioned! It was a celebration of an amazing life!

On another note, we are about to finish the mix on the new CD. It has been a bit slow in finishing but is turning out to be an incredible project that you’ll be able to enjoy and experience the touch of God. As many of you know, Kari Jobe was a big part of the night. I believe this CD will be a powerful tool to release worship into the nations. It was a night to “Prepare the Way for the Lord! “ We’ll keep you posted on the release of the CD along with the DVD.

The free mp3 this month is called "Conversations" and is off of the Serenity project. It is an instrumental song and I think you will really enjoy it. We are running a promotion this month on the two Instrumental CDs and are selling them as a combo for $15.

Many blessings on you and yours,

Hi Everybody,

In January I wrote about a benefit event we were planning for Chris & Linsday Rogers. Thought I would update on that. We had a wonderful night of worship with Marco Barrientos, Zach Neese, Walker Beach, myself, and many others including friends and worshippers that came out to be a part of the event. It was held at Heartland World Ministries Church with Pastor Steve Hill. The house was full. We were able to come into the presence, pray over Chris and Lindsay, and be an encouragement them. The added blessing was that we raised $10,000 to bless them to be able to help with some of the medical bills and ongoing needs they have incurred. We continue to stand with them for a complete healing and ask you to continue to believe as well.

I want to quote John Piper from the first chapter of his book, The Dangerous Duty of Delight. He says, “I write this little book because the truth and beauty of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, are breathtaking, I say with the ancient psalmist,

‘One thing have I asked of the Lord
That will I seek after;
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord
And to inquire in His temple’”

I love that. The truth and beauty of the Lord are breathtaking. I’m sure you have at one time or another seen something in creation that took your breath away. Imagine that! In 1 Corinthians 2:9 Paul says, but just as it is written, “THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”

We cannot even conceive the glory and majesty of this amazing King. We only see in part right now but the Father wants to reveal His beauty now to those who desire it. The psalmist said, "ONE THING, have I asked of the Lord". Not two, not three, but just one..... to dwell and to see. I am convinced that our hunger and desire is often too weak. There are so many distractions and so many things tugging at us. The call to us remains... will you come and sit at the feet of Jesus in the midst of your busy life, do you desire Him above all else?

Worthship (english transliteration of the word worship) teaches us that every person worships one thing or another. The thing you ascribe worth to is what you worship. I encourage us all to make the ONE thing in our lives the presence of Jesus. All else really pales in comparison!! And I think when we finally see the face of Jesus one day soon, we’ll be wondering why anything else even mattered!

On a side note, we are going to extend the mp3 of the month “Break Me For The Nations”, for one more month. Not only are we offering the song as a free mp3, but are asking you to help get the word out to your worship and missions pastors. We are offering this version of the song for free to anyone using it for the purpose of missions. Feel free to use it for your videos and promotional material.

Many blessings on you as you journey with Him,

Hi Everybody,
I can hardly believe It’s February already! I always look forward to updating everybody on what is happening and hope that what we write encourages you!

Over a decade ago, I remember writing a song called “Break me for the Nations". I still remember how it moved my heart and I felt destiny, not only on the song but the call to the nations. Since that time I have been privileged to travel all over the world taking worship into the nations. Christ for the Nations recorded it shortly after my original recording of it, and it has blessed many over the years, being used as a missions anthem.

A few months back, Walker Beach called and said that Gateway Church wanted to record a version of the song for their “Let’s Go” Devotional Series. The daily devotions deal with the church touching people every day, one at a time, with no effort being too small. The stories of soccer moms, unwed pregnant mothers, and many others, amaze you as God uses our touch to change lives.

Walker did an incredible job producing the song, and I was blessed to sing and play on the arrangement. Gateway and Integrity music have graciously allowed us to offer the new recorded version as a free download. It really is a moving song that I trust will mobilize many to the harvest field. I am hoping that many missions organizations will use the song to inspire people to touch the world. Please share it with your missions pastor and all those that could use it to reach further.

On another note, we are about to get our most recent recording finished up in the studio and still hope to have it available early spring of this year. We’ll keep you updated on the release!

I wanted to leave you with a thought concerning worship. When the woman with the alabaster jar worshipped Jesus, she spilled the whole of it in a moment. Historians tell us it was very costly. She broke it open preparing Him for the burial to come. The Bible does not say that she measured out a little at a time, not wanting to be excessive, but rather poured it all out in that moment of worship! If we are still measuring our offerings, we have not seen His worth! The religious leaders said it was too much and that she was not worthy, (sounds religious, the very opposite of what Jesus came for, which was to seek and save that which was lost and convert rebels into worshippers). She saw His worth because of what He had done in her life and poured out extravagant worship in exchange for the extravagant love that He had shown her.

My prayer is that all of us learn that type of worship in our lives. Not just in a given moment, but every day. When you are poured out for the broken and the destitute, you do it as unto the Lord, as an act of worship. May we be broken and poured out for the world around us.

Grateful for His goodness,

A very happy and blessed new year to all!
God is very much concerned with seasons and new beginnings! That’s why each and every day comes with new mercies and brings the rising of the sun, declaring His faithfulness to us!

There are many uncertainties that face us going into this new decade. Like never before it is clear that the church of Jesus Christ is under attack. But my encouragement for you going into this New Year is to trust in the Lord with all your heart, being anxious for nothing, knowing that He will always care for His own. Let Your Kingdom come Lord!

Since this is coming from Pure Worship Ministries, I could think of no better way to start the year off than to exhort you to continual praise. Hebrews 13:15 says "Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name".

Pastor Sam Brassfield just sent out a word that the Lord had spoken to him and I want to share with you.... "If its not all about Worship, why then did the devil when tempting Jesus, offer the keys, [authority, glory, rule] of the entire world and all its kingdoms in return - if Jesus would only, "ONE TIME" bow down and worship the devil? I think pure Davidic, living, fresh, moving, Spirit anointed Worship will be key in this next decade".

I feel like this is right on! Worship is the eternal issue of the ages. The promise to restore the Tabernacle of David in the latter days will come to pass. All over the earth worship is arising as a fragrance before Him. Let your life be one that exhales worship at all times.

I am believing God for a year of increase in every realm. In the Spirit, in my soul, and in my physical body as well. And, I am believing with you that you will experience the same! May our worship make great and glorify the name of Jesus in 2010. I’ve included a free download from our Healing Waters CD. The song is called "Holy Spirit move". The words are “we don’t ever want to be the same, breathe upon us now and we’ll be changed”. From glory to glory we go!

Blessings on you and yours,

Klaus

Upcoming Event
On January 22nd I will be joining Marco Barrientos, Walker Beach, Zach Neese, and several other friends to help lead a Night of Worship and Intercession. The evening will be a benefit for Chris and Lindsay Rogers. For those who do not know Chris, he has been involved at Christ for the Nations, teaching, mixing sound, and recording. He has been a good friend throughout the years and has mixed several of our projects. On March 31, 2009, Chris was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, adenoid cystic carcinoma stage 4, which had spread from his neck to his lungs, back and pelvis. The cancer in his back, which threatened his spinal chord and, potentially, his ability to walk, has been surgically removed. But the malignant growths elsewhere still remain. Please join your faith with ours for a miracle for Chris and join us at Hearland World Ministries Church in Irving on January 22nd. There is no charge for this event, but we will receive a love offering for Chris and Lindsay.

Merry Christmas!
Wow, it is that time again. Christmas time is here and I haven’t even started thinking about gifts yet. It seems like most of my gift buying is done in the last few days. Good thing my wonderful wife takes care of most of the buying!!

This has been an incredible year and God has been so good to us here at Pure Worship, and to me personally. There are times when you feel you do not deserve His ongoing goodness, but it is the nature of the Eternal God to give beyond our highest expectations!

I want to thank Mary Zook for all she does day in and out to get the music out there, and to organize every detail of what we do with incredible efficiency. What a gift to the ministry. Thank you Mary!

I want to thank Julie, Candace, Aaron, and Olivia for the the incredible joy they bring into my every day! I am blessed to have the family I do.

As I write, I’m aware of the struggles many of my friends are going through. He is faithful forever! I believe that.

I am reminded of Isaiah chapter 9 as it talks about the advent of the King. "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this."

Wow, the government will rest upon His shoulders! This has been in my spirit much as of late. King Jesus will rule in justice, He is the prince of Peace. The beautiful thing about the Kingdom is that it is now, it is coming, and of the increase of His government there will be no end. I’m not a fan of big government, but when it rests on His shoulders, I say bring it on!!!!

The free mp3 download of the month is called "Beautiful Day". It is from our Christmas CD and I believe you’ll enjoy it. Kari Jobe and Elizabeth Clark both sing on the CD. If you don’t own it, get a few and give them out as gifts. I know they’ll bless and bring a lot of joy as you think about the ultimate gift, Jesus Christ.

Thank you so much for your support and prayers. I’m very excited about the new live recording we just completed. I believe God will use it to awaken and bless His people. Thanks to many of you for joining us on that night.

Wishing you a truly blessed Christmas and holiday season. May the Lord bless you, and keep you, and make His face to shine upon you.

Until next year,

Hi to All!
I trust you are enjoying family and friends and this beautiful fall weather. I can hardly believe it is November heading towards Thanksgiving and then on to Christmas! WOW!

November is a very busy month as we prepare for our next recording. I believe this one is unlike any other we have done. I sense something new on the horizon for the church! I spent some time with Kari Jobe this week and she is excited about joining me on this upcoming night of worship. I’m very blessed to see all the good things the Lord is doing through her and it’s a privilege to be a part of that journey. We are writing a song or two together for the project.

My nephew, Christian wrote a song a while back called “Roar from Zion”. The minute I heard him sing it I felt the touch of the God on it. I helped in adding a verse and have begun to sing it recently. We sang it at an event the other night and the place erupted. Joel 3:16 says, "the Lord will roar from Zion...". He is coming to His church in great power and authority! This will be the church’s finest hour. He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the KING of PRAISE. (Judah means praise). If you want to stir the heart of the King, start releasing praise and watch out!

I believe Jesus, the Lion King, is about to roar! His enemies will be scattered in that moment. I’m reminded of one of the final scenes in Chronicles of Narnia when the Lion is on his way to save the day and while flying through the air erupts with a roar, completely and instantly slaying the enemy. He is coming to Zion!

If there is any way you can make it to the live worship recording, we would love to have you there. It is Friday, November 20th at Trinity Church in Cedar Hill. We will begin at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) I believe this will be a historic night in the Spirit as we release a prophetic sound to awaken the bride! It is a night of Preparing the Way of the Lord. We rehearsed with the band last Monday and the music and sound coming out of that rehearsal blew me away. I believe we’ve assembled the finest musicians for this evening, highly skilled and trained to know the sound of the King. For more information, go to Pureworship.com.

On a last note, we’re including a song off our Christmas record called “Thank You” for the free download of the month. It’s really a song for all year round and one of my favorites. Be blessed and we’ll be back next month.

See you November 20th!!

Hi Everybody,

I hope this finds you doing well and enjoying the goodness of God. The cooler weather and fall season is here and all the Texas people are happy!!

I'm in Michigan as I write this, attending my cousin's funeral. A very special and moving day as we remembered his life. I am amazed at all the lives he touched in his short time on earth. Although Eddie's life was not an easy one, he made a point to share God's love with those around him. I was again reminded of the brevity of life. My thoughts went to the many occasions we gathered at Eddie's house and then to the day when Father's family will all gather at the marriage supper of the lamb. Amazing thought that will soon be a reality. We'll get to see all the many loved ones that have gone on ahead. Wow!

The trees up north are turning colors and this is a spectacular time of year as the seasons change.

I've been selecting a few songs that I've recorded but never released for the free mp3 downloads. This month's release is titled "More of You". I remember driving along one day and realizing how much I need Him in my life but also understanding that for that to become a reality, less of me would be the result, which really is better anyway :). Hoping you're enjoying the music.

Please put on your calendar to join us November 20th for a LIVE recording (audio and video) at Trinity church in Cedar Hill. Kari Jobe will be joining me and I feel like God is going to release a prophetic stream that night preparing His people for the days ahead. Making way for the King is what we're doing. Please invite some friends and help us release God's heart for this hour.

I thank you for your prayers and support for what we do. It is my honor and joy to bring His people into the courts! 'Till next time....

Grace and peace

Hi Friends,

Wow! Another summer is wrapping up and school is back in session! Hasn’t been too hot of a summer in Texas although I have to be honest in telling you I’ve escaped some of the heat while in Michigan spending some time with the family. The Lord is good and remains forever faithful. Hoping that you’re enjoying the goodness of God every day of your life. I’m not talking about physical blessing but the steady presence of God in your every moment.

We just finished several great worship events and are looking forward to the new that’s coming. Kari Jobe and I did a night of worship at Covenant church in Carrollton, Texas and were able to reconnect with some friends and enjoy an awesome night in the presence. Hoping to do more of the same in the very near future. As I write this, I am on the way to Windsor, Canada to minister at the church and city in which I spent many of my earlier years. I'm believing God will meet us in a special way.

Mike Hayes recently spoke on worship and I was reminded that worship carries a cost. Abraham worshipped and was asked to sacrifice his only son. Solomon sacrificed in a major way before the glory was released. Mary broke open her alabaster box representing a year’s worth of income as she worshipped. God meets us at the altar of sacrifice. There is a cost involved and something should die at the altar. We should never leave the same as when we came, and more of His life, less of us, should be the result. In our modern culture we often desire a feel good experience but the life of God can only be revealed in us as we yield ours up.

These are hard times for many and I believe may become much more challenging. Who knows where the days to come will find the church. Practice the presence in your family and everyday living. Love and cherish God’s law, writing it upon your hearts. Mentor your children to do the same. Don’t allow the mindset of the world to press in on you. We are the called out ones, the elect, the salt and light in the earth!!
Upcoming Events

I want to give you an update on a few new and exciting things. We are starting a free mp3 download every month that I hope to continue for many years to come. My goal is to release songs that will bless the body and encourage. Come back and look for the free mp3 every month!

I’ll be a part of the CFNI Alumni Reunion in October that will reunite many of the worship leaders of the past for a live recording. Looking forward to that. If you are interested in joining us, you can find out more information on the CFNI website.

Please put on your calendars to join us for our next recording on November 20th at Trinity church in Cedar Hill. Kari Jobe will be joining me that evening and the purpose is to record an intimate night in the presence. Not looking for a lot of hype that evening but a night to make way for the King. Worship is going to release the prophetic in the church in the days ahead and the Spirit will speak to the bride and prepare her for the things to come.

Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for the worship you give to the King!

Grace on you!
